Erika Eleniak was born in Glendale, California on September 29, 1969, the daughter of a would-be Canadian actor and a female production assistant. Her parents' industry connections led Erika into acting and modeling at a very young age. By the age of ten she was already doing fashion shoots and commercials! Erika Eleniak's big early break was in 1982, when she landed a small part in 'E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.' She played Elliott's girlfriend, and even got in an on-screen kiss with Henry Thomas.
'E.T.' didn't lead to instant fame, however. Erika Eleniak spent the bulk of her teenage years as a self-described 'San Fernando Valley heavy metal party girl.' By the age of seventeen, Erika was drinking and drugging at an alarming rate. It was then that she met a wheelchair-bound friend named Steve Ferguson. He convinced Erika to attend A.A. meetings and turn her life around.
After beating drugs and booze, Erika Eleniak decided to pursue her dream of appearing in Playboy magazine. Ferguson helped her to do just that, and by July 1989 Erika's breathtaking bod was splashed across the pages of America's foremost mens' mag as Playmate of the Month. Her photo layout led to Erika's real big break -- a part on 'Baywatch,' then the world's most watched TV show. Her mouthwatering -- now enhanced -- figure won her fans all over the world, and made hers one of the most recognizable faces in entertainment.
Erika Eleniak left 'Baywatch' after a couple of seasons in order to pursue her dreams of big screen stardom. She made a splash in the Steven Seagal shoot-em-up 'Under Siege,' popping out of a cake topless. Since then, Erika's career has faltered a bit. She still gets plenty of roles, but they tend to be in straight-to-video features like 'Bordello of Blood' or 'A Pyromaniac's Love Story.'
Erika married Philip Goglia in March 1998, ending her days of single merriment. She continues to work in the industry, appearing in a couple of low-budget flicks every year. While Erika Eleniak may no longer be one of the world's most sought-after starlets, she's still one of the most alluring and attractive women in the biz. She currently lives in Calgary, Alberta when she's not down in Southern California working.
