Jenna Elfman (born Jennifer Mary Butala on September 30, 1971 in Los Angeles, California) is an American television and film actress . She studied with acting teacher Milton Katselas at the Beverly Hills Playhouse before beginning her television career. She is best known for her role on the TV sitcom Dharma & Greg, which ran for five years on ABC from 1997 to 2002. She won a Golden Globe Award for the role.
She also starred in the movies Krippendorf's Tribe, Edtv, and Looney Tunes: Back in Action.
Noted composer Danny Elfman is her uncle-in-law, and married Bodhi Elfman 1995. Tony Butala of The Lettermen is her uncle.
