Carlos Moya was born on August, 27th 1976 in Palma of Majorca, and we can assure he did it with a tennis racket in his hands. His parents had a hotel in s'Arenal and from his youth they went to play tennis with him. He was so small that he dragged the racket because it was larger than him. This was the way Carlos Moya did his first hits.
He growed up playing with his father until Jofre Porta take him to the C.N. Palma when he was six, so that he could train at Son Hugo courts, activity he made two or three times per week. At that moment he didn't devote all his time to tennis but he played basket and football (soccer) too, until he chose the choice of tennis. |
